Easy Air Fryer Breakfast Sausage Patties Recipe Healthy Low Sodium

These Easy Air Fryer Breakfast Sausage Patties are a wonderful way to start my day. I opt for ground turkey when I make them but chicken works, too.

Both are lean and healthy, but you would never know it from the taste. I am not shy about seasoning the meat.

I use plenty of sage; ask any New Englander, and they will tell you that sage is the real secret to breakfast sausage. Along with that, I add garlic powder, onion powder, and, if I’m feeling indulgent, a tad bit of soy sauce (which accounts for any noticeable “browned bits” that you see in the picture).

I can imagine that using red pepper flakes instead of a smidge of soy sauce would also be great for those who like their breakfast sausage with a little more heat.
